HCG DROPS, MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
Since Dr. Oz promoted the hCG diet nearly five years ago, the demand for hCG drops has declined. The main reason is due to the exposure of many websites hawking products that do not contain real hCG. In 2011, the FDA sent warning letters to several companies, and a few manufacturers were actually shut down due to false claims they made about their products.
The fact is 99% of all the “hCG” drops sold by companies on the internet don’t contain any real hCG. The only way to prove whether a product contains real hCG is to dip an early pregnancy test (EPT) strip into the liquid for about twenty seconds; or when using an EPT that has a “sample” well in the plastic casing, you would put three or four drops into the well in order to see the test results. EPT strips have one purpose and one purpose only--to detect hCG. hCG Body Shaper is the only company that provides EPT strips with each order, showing they are willing to prove their claim that Body Shaper contains real hCG.
The internet is full of websites selling products that claim to contain real hCG drops; but sadly, they do not pass the test (EPT). The reason the hCG diet has been so popular is because of the fast results. After all, who doesn’t like the idea of losing up to a pound every day on the diet program?
Some of the biggest opponents and promoters of the hCG diet are doctors. Some doctors claim there is no real evidence that the diet actually works, while others recommend it to their patients wholeheartedly. The FDA says there is no evidence that it works, but they have never done any research to make a definitive determination either way. In 2011, the Huffington Post posted an article claiming that hCG injections or hCG Drops were no more effective than salt water for losing weight. One of the things that was missing in the article, however, was information about the study itself: Who did it? How many people were tested?
The primary fact about the hCG diet is very clear to those people who have done it correctly. It is the fastest way to lose weight on the market. Not being a doctor myself, I can’t make any medical claims; but I can give you my personal experience.
Five years ago at the age of 57, I was introduced to the hCG diet program. In 30 days I lost 35 pounds, and what was shocking to me was the fact that I did not get hungry during that period. In the beginning, I battled some cravings, but I wasn’t hungry. At 57 years old, my metabolism had slowed down considerably. Dieting alone seemed futile, and at 255 pounds, I was a border-line diabetic and an excellent prospect for heart disease.
Prior to losing the weight, I had no energy after 2:00 in the afternoon, making it difficult to accomplish much during the day. I went to a doctor in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who specialized in weight loss and hormone therapy; and after blood work and other tests, he discovered I had a few medical issues. The two biggest things were that my testosterone levels were incredibly low, and my thyroid numbers were off. Dr. Anthony Keele prescribed medication for my thyroid and gave me a large dose of testosterone by injection in the hip. I must admit the injection was not a pleasant experience, as the needle was two inches long and thicker than any needle I had ever seen. The results, however, have been worth it. Within 48 hours, I was a new man with more energy than I had had in years.
In conjunction with monthly testosterone shots, Dr. Keele prescribed weight training which I began shortly thereafter. In my basement I have a small gym which has been there since 1999, which means I have undertaken weight training in the past--unfortunately, with minimal results. The results in muscle growth since I started taking testosterone have been incredible. At 62 years of age now, I have added 2 inches of muscle to my arms, my chest is more muscular, and I actually have the V-shape in my back. Why do I tell you this? The reason is because of a recent test I did in weight loss.
Bodybuilders generally go through two cycles for muscle growth. First they put on muscle, which requires a lot of calories and in most cases, produces weight gains which include fat. The second cycle is weight loss, which in most cases, includes some loss of the newly-gained muscle. Knowing this, I recently decided to see what would happen on a diet while using hCG and not using hCG.
Before I explain the test, you need to know some information. Probably 90% of my body fat is located in my stomach—it is organ fat, which is dangerous to a person’s health. I have miniscule amounts of fat on my arms, legs, and chest, and I have no love handles. The only place I needed to lose weight was internal abdominal fat.
Before dieting, I measured my arms, legs, chest, and stomach to determine whether I would lose muscle during the no-hCG diet regimen. The first six weeks, I dieted on 1500-1800 calories per day; and at the end of the six weeks, I had lost nearly ten pounds—and nearly one inch of muscle in my arms. This did not make me happy. Although I had lost fat in my stomach, I had definitely lost muscle mass.
The second phase of testing was the hCG Diet, during which I took hCG Body Shaper drops daily, along with the 500-calorie-per-day diet. After three weeks, I had lost another 12 pounds; but this time, my arms, legs, and chest had remained the same size. This proved to me the basic claim that Dr. Albert T.W. Simeons made in his report: hCG helps burn up fat, without cannibalizing a person’s muscles or organs.
In closing, if you are going to diet and you want to lose weight fast, hCG Body Shaper is one of the best products on the market. It contains 5000 IU of real hCG, which helps protect muscles and organs. I definitely recommend an exercise program and weight training after each round of the hCG diet. Once you have achieved your goal weight, continue to exercise to improve your quality of life.
hCG DROPS BY BODY SHAPER
Nearly sixty years ago, Dr. Albert T.W. Simeons introduced the hCG diet protocol that was designed to help obese people lose weight without the normal hunger issues. The program faded away after a few years, but was resurrected a few years ago by several companies, one of which is hCG Body Shaper that produces “Real hCG Drops.”
Unfortunately, at the same time our company began, hundreds of other companies began promoting homeopathic hCG drop products that do not contain a single molecule of hCG. Even after the crack-down on homeopathic companies by the FDA, there are still several companies that claim to have real hCG in their HCG Drops. The one thing that puts hCG Body Shaper in a different category from all the other companies is that we ship actual EPT strips with each order, so the customer can test our hCG Drops for real hCG themselves.
WARNING: If you buy any product that claims to be real hCG drops, test it before you use it. Cheap EPT test strips can be bought at any dollar store for around one to two dollars. All you have to do is use the eye dropper to fill the little well in the EPT tester with the drops from the bottle and let it sit for a couple of minutes. The EPT strips are made for one purpose--to detect hCG. If it does not test positive, it does not contain hCG.
Cheap EPT strips are effective enough to detect a minimum of 200 IU of hCG in a single bottle. A single bottle of Real hCG Drops should contain a minimum of 4000 IU for one round. So, if the EPT strip does not test positive, the bottle contains no hCG. The danger of using a product that contains no real hCG is that with the 500-calorie-per-day diet, you can cause serious damage to your body. According to Simeons’ Protocol, the hCG protects your muscles and organs from being cannibalized during the program. It also releases approximately 2000 calories in fat stores to be consumed instead. This release of fat stores is why many people gain weight if they go over the 500 calories.
As with any diet program, we suggest you contact your doctor before you start using hCG Body Shaper drops to lose weight.
The FDA requires us to notify you of the following:
INDICATIONS AND USAGE: HCG HAS NOT BEEN DEMONSTRATED TO BE EFFECTIVE ADJUNCTIVE THERAPY IN THE TREATMENT OF OBESITY. THERE IS NO SUBSTANTIAL EVIDENCE THAT IT INCREASES WEIGHT LOSS BEYOND THAT RESULTING FROM CALORIC RESTRICTION, THAT IT CAUSES A MORE ATTRACTIVE OR "NORMAL" DISTRIBUTION OF FAT, OR THAT IT DECREASES THE HUNGER AND DISCOMFORT ASSOCIATED WITH CALORIE-RESTRICTED DIETS.
